Filter Characteristics and Structure

Structure Ideal to the folowing needs
Depth (String Wound) Ideal to remove particles from liquids featuring high solid concentration or broad particle size distribution.
Depth (Roll) Reliably capture particles of a specific size or larger in a liquid with a broad particle size distribution.
Surface
(Non-woven/Membrane)
Featuring a narrow particle size distribution it is ideal for low-viscosity and high viscosity liquids; it's large surface area increases filter service life and results to lower pressure drop
Depth Pleated Designed for high particle removal efficiency at a lower pressure drop

Do you have the following needs in addition to those listed above?

Structure Optimal to the following needs
Large Diameter Type Ideal for a wide variety of applications where high flow rates and long service life are primary requirements.
Enables the use of significantly fewer elements and smaller housings for high flow applications
Absorption type Designed to selectively absorb and remove specified substances such as chlorine. (Product code: MCK) Designed to remove turbidity (colloidal substances) and sediment contributors (such as organic fatty acids and polyphenols). (Product code: PEB/ASP)

Depth (String Wound)

Features

  • Graded thread density winding process offers consistent quality and efficient removal of wide range of particle sizes.
  • High particulate retention using the thickness of the filter medium.
  • Liquids are filtered by using the thickness of the filter medium.

Depth (Roll)

Features

  • Utilizes different non-woven material with graded fiber diameter structure.
  • Roll type offers high particle removal efficiency and retention.
  • High particulate retention using the thickness of the filter medium.
  • Liquids are filtered by using the thickness of the filter medium.

Surface (Non-woven/Membrane)

Features

  • Pleated media provides longer service life (higher surface area) and less filter changeouts.
  • High particulate retention using the thickness of the filter medium.
  • Liquids are filtered by using the thickness of the filter medium.

Depth Pleated

Features

  • Pleated construction yields high flow rates compared to traditional depth filters
  • Graded density layering for superior removal of amorphous contaminants
  • Recommended for a wide range of fluids, with varying viscosities and solids concentrations.
  • Liquids are filtered by using both surface and thickness of the filter medium.

Large Diameter Type

Features

  • Filter dimensions were altered to achieved higher flow rates (4X) than the normal size cartridges.
  • ROKI TECHNO is offering Q-Flow® and Huge-Flow® in this filter construction.

Absorption type

Features

  • Designed for adsorption applications this filter incorporates filter aid (such as activated carbon, diatomaceous earth, perlite) to absorb unwanted substance, in addition to its filtration capability.
